Sandra Bennett

Sandra Bennett joined QVC in September 2006 as a Host Trainee and spent her first six months learning about QVC’s products, sales strategies, and most importantly, our customers. She was promoted to Program Host in February 2007.

Sandra was discovered during a Program Host Audition held at Studio Park in March 2006. Her outgoing personality and comfort in front of the camera distinguished her from the nearly 500 participants from all across the country who showed up to compete for the position.

Sandra possesses an extensive background in writing, publishing, and news reporting. She spent three years ghostwriting on the topics of health, beauty, and fitness. Sandra was also a news anchor and reporter for approximately 10 years, most recently at Philadelphia’s WCAU, an NBC–affiliate.

She received her Bachelor’s degree in English Writing/Communications from the University of Pittsburgh.

During her time as a Host Trainee, Sandra demonstrated a superb commitment to developing the unique skills it takes to be an effective on-air personality. Her friendly and enthusiastic presence has been embraced by the QVC customer.
